Johns Hopkins Ranked 13th in D3football.com Preseason Poll

MINNEAPOLIS, MN - The Johns Hopkins football team picked up its third preseason ranking of the summer as the Blue Jays are ranked 13th in the 2015 D3football.com Preseason Top 25 it was recently announced. The #13 ranking is the highest preseason ranking Johns Hopkins has earned from D3football.com since the organization debuted its poll in 2003.

Johns Hopkins, which posted an 11-1 record last season, earned 303 points to secure its #13 ranking. The Blue Jays claimed a sixth straight Centennial Conference title last season and made their fifth trip to the NCAA Playoffs since 2009. Johns Hopkins is 39-1 in the regular season since the start of the 2011 season and 41-5 overall in the last four years.

Johns Hopkins earned preseason rankings from The Sporting News (11th) and Lindy's College Football (17th) earlier this summer. The Blue Jays will open the 2015 season at home on Saturday, September 5 when they travel to Ashland, Virginia to take on Randolph-Macon.
