BRYN MAWR, PA – The 12th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team lost a total of just 12 games en route to a 9-0 win over host Bryn Mawr Saturday afternoon in Centennial Conference action. The Blue Jays improve to 7-2 on the season and 3-0 in the CC, while the Owls fall to 3-6 and 0-3 in the conference.

Hopkins jumped on top of Bryn Mawr early, sweeping doubles and losing just one game per match. Sophomore Megumi Chen and freshman Kimberly Zou beat Kendall Baller and Melina Koukoutchos at first. Junior Anna Kankanala and freshman Chrissy Simon won at second over Tirsa Delate and Mariam Haider. And at third, junior Amanda Soo Ping Chow and freshman Mika Inadomi won over Molly MacDougall and Em Prozinski.

In singles play, Hopkins swept the six matches in straight sets. Chen won at first beating Koukoutchos without losing a game. Simon, Kankanala and Soo Ping Chow turned the same trick at third, fourth and fifth, respectively. Zou beat Baller 6-1, 6-1 at second while Inadomi defeated Rosa Nanasi Haas 6-3, 6-1 at sixth.

Hopkins returns to the court on Tuesday, April 5 as the Blue Jays travel to Lancaster, PA to take on Franklin & Marshall. The Centennial Conference match is slated for a 4:00 pm start.
