? The Short Story: The 20th-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team remained unbeaten in conference play with an 8-1 win over host Haverford Saturday.

How it Happened
? Playing singles first, Hopkins jumped out to a 5-1 lead in the match before sweeping the doubles matches. Junior Katie Gauch dropped just one game in her win over Clara Farrehi at fifth singles. ? Freshman Anjie Kashyap earned a 6-1, 6-2 win over Julia Gan at first. Junior Chrissy Simon won by the same score over Ananya Prakash at sixth.
? Senior Kimberly Zou dropped only four games in her win, 6-2, 6-2 over Greta Koch at third. Freshman Dhanya Asokumar then clinched the win for the Blue Jays with a 6-3, 6-2 defeat of Emily Shutman at fourth. Jane Bary picked up the lone point for the Fords with a close 7-6 (1), 4-6, 1-0 (9) win over sophomore Sophia Strickland at second.
? In doubles play, Hopkins lost a combined seven games en route to the sweep. Kashyap and Strickland beat Shutman and Bary 8-2 at first. Zou and Asokumar won 8-4 at second over Koch and Gan. Gauch and freshman Margo Gerke needed just nine games to beat Clara Farrehi and Jia-Ling Tuan at third.

? Hopkins moves to 24-7 all-time against Haverford and wins its 23rd straight in the series. The one point by the Fords is the first the Blue Jays have surrendered in conference play this season.
