KANSAS CITY, MO – The Johns Hopkins men's soccer team placed four Blue Jays on the United Soccer Coaches All-Mid-Atlantic Teams it was announced today. Juniors RJ Moore and Alejandro Maclean were named to the first team, junior Xander LeFevre was named to the second team and senior Connor Jacobs was named to the third team.
 
Hopkins has now produced 70 all-time United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) All-Region selections, including 30 under head coach Craig Appleby. The four all-region selections this season are one shy of the program record (2017).
 
Moore earns all-region honors for the second time in his career. He tied for the team lead in assists (5) and was tied for fourth in points (11). For his career, he is tied for 13^th in JHU history with 15 career helpers. Maclean garners his first career all-region selection. He finished the season tied for fourth on the team in goals (4) and was named the CC Tournament MVP honors after scoring the game-winner in the championship game.
 
Jacobs earns his third career all-region honor becoming just the seventh player in program history to do so. He is the senior member of a defense that was tied for first in the Centennial Conference with nine shutouts and ranked second in goals against average (0.750). Jacobs notched six points (2g, 2a) this season and is tied for 17^th in program history with 13 career assists.
 
LeFevre becomes just the second goalie in program history to earn all-region honors twice. He led the Centennial in wins (17), shutouts (8) and save percentage (.816) and ranked second in minutes (1913:48) and goals against average (0.75). He ranks in the top-10 in school history in career wins (30), shutouts (14), goals against average (.825), save percentage (.799) and saves (139).
