The Game
«  Johns Hopkins (0-2) hits the road for the second time on the year as the Blue Jays travel to North Carolina to take on the Tar Heels (3-0). 
«  Johns Hopkins is coming off an 18-12 loss to now top-ranked Loyola last Saturday at Homewood Field.  North Carolina beat Harvard, 16-11, at home last Saturday to improve to 3-0 on the year.

«  This is the 132nd season of Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse.  JHU first fielded a team in 1883.
«  Johns Hopkins enters this week's game with an all-time record of 983-336-15.

«  JHU leads the all-time series 25-22 and won the last time the two teams met at UNC, 13-5, in 2017.

Johns Hopkins-UNC Ties
«  Johns Hopkins head coach Dave Pietramala and North Carolina head coach Joe Breschi were both members of the 1994 United States National Team that won the FIL World Championship.
«  The head coach at North Carolina during the Tar Heels' 1981, 1982 and 1986 NCAA Championship seasons was Willie Scroggs, who played at Johns Hopkins from 1967-69 for legendary Blue Jay coach Bob Scott.  JHU won the USILA National Championship in each of Scroggs' three varsity seasons.
