LANCASTER, PA – For the second time this season, junior
Matthew Su of the Johns Hopkins men's track and field team has been named the Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week. Su previously won the award on January 14.
Su won the long jump event at the NYC DIII Invitational on Friday with a leap of 7.00m as the Blue Jays won the event with a team score of 98.5. This is the third time Su has won the long jump event this season. The junior also recorded a second-place finish in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.09.
Johns Hopkins returns to action on Friday, February 8 as selected athletes will take part in the Navy Select Invitational while others will participate in day one action at the David Hemery Invitational.
