Maggie Schneidereith has been named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week for the second time in her career. She totaled nine goals and four assists to lead Hopkins to wins over Saint Joseph's and Hofstra.
Schneidereith scored a career-best six goals and seven points on Wednesday in the Blue Jays' 17-11 win over the Hawks. Her first three goals came in a span of less than 10 minutes as she had a hand in five of the Blue Jays' first seven goals (4g, 1a). on Saturday, she totaled six points on three goals and three assists in the win at Hofstra. She notched five of her six points in the second half, when the Blue Jays outscored the host Pride, 11-6, to come from behind for the win.
Schneidereith leads the Blue Jays in points (33) and goals (21) and is second in assists (12). Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, March 13 against 25
th-ranked High Point at Homewood Field.
