• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins track and field teams took to the track once again in hopes of achieving more MCAA qualifying marks as the Blue Jays took part in the Swarthmore Last Chance Meet on Monday and JHU was able to add two more athletes to the list of those who will be heading to the NCAA Championships.

Meet Highlights:
• Arielle Summitt ran a new personal-best time in the steeplechase as she clocked in with a time of 10:49.21 which now ranks ninth in Division III. She joins fellow teammates Tasha Freed and Lauren Jacob in the top-10 in the event.
• Samantha Levy also punched a ticket to nationals as her new personal best time of 17:06.80 in the 5,000-meter run now ranks 16^th in the nation. Levy cut over 20 seconds off her previous best time. Emily Stahl finished the race in 17:19.65 while Ellie Clawson clocked in with a time of 17:44.28 and Shaina Palmer crossed the finish line in 17:47.00.
• In the 800-meter dash, Therese Olshanski clocked in with a time of 2:16.46 while Erin Brush finished in 2:16.46.
• Sophomore Mikayla Bisignani had a throw of 39.73-meters in the discus event.
• Annie Gutierrez finished the pole vault with a mark of 3.48m while Sophia Cortazzo cleared 3.33m.
• Senior Benjamin Huang cleared 4.55m in the pole vault for a third-place finish in the event as he set a new personal-best mark in the event.

• Johns Hopkins is back in action as they will participate in the Atlantic Regional Championships which will be held at SUNY Cortland. The two-day meet kicks off on Wednesday, May 15 at 12 pm.
