• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's track & field team finished a program-best third at the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Geneva, OH. JHU tied with George Fox for the third spot with 36 total points. Loras won the national championship with 53 points over the three-day event with Washington University finishing a close second with 49 points.

All-Americans:
• Tasha Freed became the fifth Blue Jay to earn All-America honors and the fourth member of the women's team to place in the top-eight as the senior went out in style with a second-place finish in the steeplechase. The Fredrick, MD native set a new school record in the event as she crossed the finish line with a time of 10:40.94, cutting almost five seconds off her school record time. She finished just over six seconds ahead of third-place finisher Marissa Mount of Whitworth.

Therese Olshanski recorded a fifth-place finish in the 1,500-meter run as she moved through the pack during the race's final moments to grab a top-five spot and give the Blue Jays four more team points. The sophomore raced to the finish line with a time of 4:31.71, just fractions behind fourth-place finisher Abigail Nadler of Middlebury who finished with a time of 4:31.22.

Caelyn Reilly grabbed her second All-America honor of the championships as she recorded a fourth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 17:15.03 which gave the Blue Jays five team points.
Other Highlights:
• Competing in her first NCAA Championship,
Arielle Summitt grabbed a 12
th-place finish with a time of 11:34.13 in the steeplechase and
Samantha Levy also nabbed a 12
th-place finish in the 5k as she crossed the line in 18:14.31.
• The Blue Jays posted three individual runner-up finishes at the championships and the six All-Americans are the most in program history.
