Lancaster, PA - Declan Hines was named Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week it was announced this morning. This is the first Athlete of the Week award for Hines in his first year with the program. 

Hines, a junior distance runner out of Melville, NY, clinched his place in the NCAA Indoor Championships with his performance on Saturday at the Tufts Last Chance meet. Hines won the event with a time of 8:24.73, the 10th-fastest time at the DIII level. 

Hines' time was the fastest in the Centennial Conference this season and he will be the number four seed in Winston-Salem this weekend.
