Tim Treinen earned first team honors, while senior
Liam Creedon and freshman
Ian Whamond were named to the second team.
Hopkins has produced 33 United Soccer Coaches All-Region selections under head coach
Craig Appleby and 73 since 1989. Treinen, Creedon and Whamond each earn all-region honors for the first time in their careers. The trio led the Blue Jays to the Centennial Conference regular season title and an appearance in the NCAA Second Round.
A two-time All-Centennial selection, Treinen has anchored the Hopkins defense for the last three seasons. JHU ranked second in the conference in shutouts (8) and goals allowed (19). Treinen has led the Blue Jay defense to a 0.77 goals against average and 25 shutouts in his career.
Creedon, a two-time All-Centennial Conference pick, is the Blue Jays' leader in the midfield. He finished tied for first on the team with six goals and was tied for second with 13 points. Four of his six goals were game-winners.
The Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year, Whamond is the first JHU freshman to earn all-region honors since 2017 and just the seventh all-time. He finished tied for the team lead in assists and was also tied for fourth in points (8).
