After breaking school and conference records in the heptathlon this past weekend,
Justin Canedy has been named Centennial Conference Field Athlete of the Week.
The 2019 Centennial Indoor Field Athlete of the Year is off to a great start for the 2021-22 indoor season. Canedy totaled 5,245 points at the Bison Opener, breaking Andrew Bartnett's school and conference record of 5,238 points set back in 2017. Canedy's mark is comfortably the best in the nation thus far and is a top-10 mark in NCAA Division III history. Canedy's marks in the long jump and the high jump also put him in a strong position to qualify for NCAA's in those events as well.
