BALTIMORE, MD – Earlier this week, Johns Hopkins Track & Field Coach
Bobby Van Allen announced the schedule for the 2021 spring season.
The Blue Jays will compete in five meets prior to the Centennial Conference Championships on May 1 and 2 in Allentown, PA. Hopkins will kick off the outdoor track schedule on April 2 and 3, competing in the Towson Invitational. Johns Hopkins will head to Fairfax, VA on Sunday, April 11 to take part in the Mason Spring Invitational at George Mason.
On Friday, April 16, the 10k runners will travel to Charlottesville, VA to run in the UVA Challenge Meet while the rest of the Blue Jays will compete at the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on April 16 and 17. The final meet before conference championships will take place on Saturday, April 24 at Gettysburg. The Jays will compete in a quad meet with Dickinson, Ursinus and the hosting Bullets.
NCAA's will take place May 27-29 in Greensboro, NC. Johns Hopkins may compete between Centennials and NCAA's, but nothing is currently set in stone at this time.
