LANCASTER, PA – The All-Centennial Women's Outdoor Track & Field team was announced by the Centennial Conference this morning. The Blue Jays, who won their 11
th Centennial crown in a row, swept the four major awards.
Ella Baran earned the honor of Outstanding Track Performer while teammate
Victoria Kadiri took home Outstanding Field Performer and Outstanding Rookie. Head coach
Bobby Van Allen was named Centennial Outdoor Coach of the Year for the fifth time.
Baran had a record-setting Saturday to earn Outstanding Track Performer. The junior broke the Centennial Conference meet record in the 1,500 with a time of 4:26.10. Her time is currently the second-best in Division III and is the third-fastest time in program history. Baran earned a second gold medal as a member of the 4x800 relay team, crossing the finish line in 9:30.86. Baran is currently qualified for NCAA's in the 800, 1,500 and 5,000.
Kadiri, a freshman from Lynn, MA, was outstanding in her first Centennial Conference meet, winning gold in both the long jump and the high jump. The newcomer also added on a silver medal in the 100-meter dash. Kadiri completed a successful leap of 5.81m in the long jump, putting her in a three-way tie atop the national list. She edged out teammate
Annie Gutierrez for gold in the high jump, completing a 1.59m leap. Her time of 12.60 in the 100 was good enough for silver and was her second-fastest this season. Kadiri is the first Blue Jay freshman to earn Outstanding Field Performer honors.
As for Van Allen, this is his fifth Centennial Outdoor Coach of the Year award and 11
th overall. Van Allen's women's team has won 10 straight Indoor titles and 11 straight Outdoor titles.
Nine different Blue Jays were named to the Centennial Conference first team. Baran (1,500 & 4x800), Kadiri, (Long Jump & High Jump) and Gutierrez (100 Hurdles & Pole Vault) each earned two spots on the first team. Joining the trio on the first team is:

Maisy Webster (4x800),
Lily Sheth (4x800),
Cherease Lamm (Triple Jump) and
Julia Zambo (Hammer Throw).
Women's Outdoor grabbed 19 more spots on the second team and honorable mentions. Gutierrez earned three spots on the second team, earning silver in the 400 hurdles, high jump, and long jump.

Veronica Montane (Javelin, Triple Jump) and
Therese Olshanski (800, 1,500) all earned multiple second team honors. Kadiri (100),

Monal Daterao (4x400),
Ariel Keklak (4x400), and
Taryn Silvernale (Pole Vault) all picked up second team honors.
Finally, the Blue Jays had four athletes named Honorable Mention.

Aishanee Wijeratna (5,000) and Zambo (Shot Put) were all honored. Montane was named as the Blue Jay representative on the Centennial Sportsmanship Team.
