NORTHBOROUGH, MA – The Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse team placed nine student-athletes on the 2021 IWLCA Division I Academic Honor Roll it was announced recently. In addition, JHU was named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
To be eligible for the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. To qualify as an Academic Honor Squad, the women's lacrosse team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Hopkins has been named an IWLCA Academic Honor squad every year since 2012 (no awards given in 2020). JHU posted an impressive 3.62 GPA for the 2020-21 academic year. Hopkins has also had 60 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll selections since 2002 and has had at least three players selected in each of the last nine seasons. The Blue Jays nine selections this year match the school record.
