BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins field hockey team is ranked second in this week's Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll. This is the highest-ever ranking for the Blue Jays, who were ranked third in the preseason poll.
Hopkins has won four straight to open the season, including back-to-back wins over ranked opponents. The Blue Jays are ranked in the top-five in the NFHCA Poll for the seventh time in program history, and third time under head coach
Jane Wells. Hopkins is 4-0 to start the season for the second time in the last three years and fourth time in school history.
JHU will put its new ranking to the test on Wednesday when it hosts ninth-ranked Salisbury.
