Anna Scott has been named the Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week. This is her second weekly conference honor of her career.
Scott led the Blue Jay defense to a pair of shutout wins in Centennial Conference action last week. She and the JHU defense surrendered just one shot, not on goal, and zero penalty corners at Dickinson on Wednesday. Scott and the Blue Jays then held Haverford to three shots, none on goal, and three corners on Saturday.
Scott has a team-best two defensive saves and is also tied for third on the team with two assists. The Blue Jays are tied for first in the conference in goals allowed (8). JHU has also allowed just 52 penalty corners in 10 games.
JHU returns to action on Wednesday, October 5 against Gettysburg. The Centennial Conference contest is scheduled for a 4:00 pm start.
