BALTIMORE, MD - For the second consecutive week,
Matthew Kleiman was named Centennial Track Athlete of the Week. This is the third week in-a-row that a Blue Jay runner was honored.
Kleiman, a junior from Concord, MA, broke a JHU program record for the second straight week. This time, competing at the George Mason Patriot Games, Kleiman took down the program record in the 1,000. The junior outlasted teammate
Arthur Beyer to finish with a time of 2:26.34, nearly four seconds faster than the previous program record. His time ranks in the top-10 in Division III history.
The Blue Jays are set to compete at the NYC Armory in the DIII Invitational on Friday.
