th-ranked Johns Hopkins men's tennis team returned home and earned an 8-1 win over Ursinus in Centennial Conference action Saturday.

• Hopkins swept the doubles matches to jump out to a 3-0 lead. Senior
Ryan Hellinger and junior
Alexander Kernagis gave the Blue Jays a quick 1-0 lead when they beat Noah Mandel and Ethan Yu, 8-1, at third. Sophomores
Daniel Ardila and
Thomas Yu then beat Lars Jespersen and Will Oberholtzer, 8-2, at first. Graduate student
Vishnu Joshi and freshman
Marco Azar wrapped up doubles play with an 8-4 win over Rob Ritchie and Darby Rogers at third.
• Junior
Andrew Tran pushed Hopkins' lead to 4-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Jespersen at first singles. Senior
Brian Wang then clinched the win when he beat Oberholtzer 6-1, 6-2 at second. Kernagis did not drop a game as he defeated Mandel at fifth.
• Ritchie then picked up the Bears' lone point of the match with a tight 7-5, 7-6 (5) win over senior
Eric Burrer at third. Sophomore
Nick Charanjiva then beat Rogers 7-6, 6-2 at fourth. Sophomore
Karan Belday closed out the match with a 6-1, 6-7, 1-0 (6) win over Yu at sixth.

What it Means
• Hopkins moves to 41-5 all-time against Ursinus and has won 30 straight over the Bears.
• Joshi now has 99 career wins (51 singles, 48 doubles) and needs just one to become the 15
th player in program history with 100 career wins.
