Baltimore, MD - In action for the first time in the 2022 outdoor season, Kevin Sommer was named Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the Towson Invitational this weekend.
On Friday afternoon, Sommer placed second in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 54.41. It is Sommer's second-fastest time in the event as a Blue Jay and it currently slots him into fifth place nationally. Sommer also ran a PR in the 800 and competed as a part of the 4x400 relay at Towson this weekend. 

Hopkins will head to Fairfax, VA for the Mason Spring Invitational on Saturday.
