Kevin Sommer was named Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week it was announced earlier today.
At the Paul Kaiser Classic in Shippensburg, PA on Saturday,
Kevin Sommer hurdled his way into 16th-place nationally at the DIII level. Sommer ran a PR and the second-fastest time in school history, crossing the finish line in 54.03 seconds to win the event outright. Sommer's time is also the sixth-fastest time in Centennial Conference history.
Johns Hopkins will look to bring another trophy back to Baltimore this weekend as they compete in the three-day Centennial Conference Championship event.
