ROME, GA – Johns Hopkins graduate student Ashley Chang and freshman Sophia Kim fell in the quarterfinals of the 2023 ITA Cup late Friday night.
 
Chang and Kim took on third-seeded Oliwia Mikos and Rena Lin of Chicago in the quarters. The Maroons' duo took the first set 6-1 and then grabbed a tight 6-4 win in the second to take the win in a match that ended after 1:00 am at the Rome Tennis Center.
 
Chang and Kim are now 7-1 on the season. Hopkins will wrap up the fall portion of its schedule on Saturday, October 28 as the Blue Jays travel to Newport News, VA to take on Christopher Newport and NC Wesleyan.
