LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track and field team has been picked to win the 2024 Centennial Conference Championship in a preseason vote of the league's head coaches. The Blue Jays tied the conference record with their 10th consecutive crown last winter. 

Hopkins received all eight possible first-place votes and 64 points to land atop the voting. Ursinus was picked second with 57 points and the remaining first-place vote. Haverford took third in the voting with 42 points, followed by McDaniel (39) and Dickinson (38) in the top five. 
 
At last year's championship, the Blue Jays totaled 192.5 points throughout the two-day event to edge second-place Ursinus by 14.5 points for the team championship. Senior Ahmed Elmogi is the lone returning All-American in the conference as a part of the second-place DMR team at the 2023 NCAA Championships. The Blue Jays also return eight all-region honorees from last year, the most of any team in the conference.
