Meet Highlights
  • The Blue Jays had a strong showing in the 3000-meter with Gavin McElhennon setting a school record in the event, which was previously his record, with a time of 8:11.53. His time is currently top 10 in the country. Emmanuel Leblond also participated and set the freshman record, running an 8:21.92. Charlie Teeter also ran a top 10 time in school history and a PR of 8:22.06.
  • Ahmed Elmogi also set a new school record in the 200. He ran a 22.17 to surpass the previous record of 22.21. That time is currently in the top five in the Mid-Atlantic.
  • Two Blue Jays also ran solid times in the unseeded 3000-meter race earlier in the day, Sean Enright and Ian Spears, running times of 8:33.70 and 8:38.09 respectively.
  • In the 800, freshman Fisayo Omonije ran a PR time of 1:54.92, shaving nearly four seconds off his pervious PR. Zach Martin and Samson Dessalines also ran PR's in the event with respective times of 1:56.93 and 1:57.33.
  • The women for Johns Hopkins turned in a strong performance in the distance medley relay. Mackenzie Setton, Lauren Phillips, Emma Kothari, and Isis Diaz turned in a time of 11:59.73, which currently ranks top 10 in the nation in Division III.
 
Up Next
The Blue Jays will compete at the Keough Invitational next weekend, which is their last race of the season before the Centennial Conference Championships.
