CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA – The Johns Hopkins men's swim team wrapped up the Cavalier Invitational with four NCAA B times and four career-best swims.
Freshman
Bryce Lloyd opened the final session with a second-place finish in the 200 Back. He posted an NCAA B time of 1:47.33. Senior
Alec Caswell grabbed fourth place with a swim of 1:54.76.
The Blue Jays then placed five swimmers from fifth to 10
th place in the 100 Free. Senior
Spencer Ryan led the way with a career-best swim of 45.93. Junior
Jay Heymann took seventh place in 46.53 and freshman
Shawn Zhou followed in 46.65 for eighth. Freshman
Christian Mayr turned in a career-best swim of 46.83 for ninth place. Sophomore
Daniel Byrnes wrapped up the JHU contingent with a time of 47.48.
Junior
Justin Limberg earned a second-place finish with an NCAA B time of 2:02.04 in the 200 Breast. Sophomore
Mitchell List finished in fourth place with a time of 2:05.34. JHU grabbed another second-place finish with freshman
Andrew Huang's 1:48.92 in the 200 Fly. His time is a career-best swim and also an NCAA B time. Sophomore
Jonik Surprenant placed fourth in 1:54.53 and junior
Alex Ren placed fifth in 1:55.82.

Nathan Jin posted a career-best swim of 51.29 in the 100 Fly time trial. And in the 400 IM trial, sophomore
Eric Ji turned in an NCAA B time of 3:58.09.
Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, February 18 with the annual Blue Jay Invitational.
