Meet Highlights
Women
- Lauren Phillips showcased her abilities once more this weekend as she broke her previous school in the 200. Phillips finished with time of 24.84 to top the 30 runner field and break her previous school record of 25.00. Phillips' time is the third fastest in Centennial Conference history and her time currently ranks 17th in the country. Anna Zaeske and Ashley Tang also ran PR time's in the event of 26.50 and 26.73 respectively.
- Tang also ran a PR in the 100, clocking in at 12.39. Her time tied for the fourth fastest in the 100 in program history. Mirra Klimov and Abigail Gerdes joined Tang in the top 10 of the event and also became top 10 performers in school history running a 12.48 and 12.53 respectively.
- Zaeske was also impressive in the 400 earning herself fourth place in a field of 32. Her 58.98 is a PR and makes her the eighth best performer in school history.
- Sarah Caulley Soto broke the program freshmen record, that she had broken previously this season, in the pole vault, earning a fourth place finish with a mark of 3.49m.
- Mackenzie Setton had a nice run in the 1500 as she came in second place in a big field of 68, clocking in at 4:41.64. Fellow freshman Adriana Catalano came in a few spots behind Setton in fifth and finished with a PR of 4:43.79.
- Victoria Kadiri finished in first place in the long jump with a mark of 5.78m. Taryn Silvernale and Sara Bartlett came behind her and had PR mark's of 5.08m and 5.07m respectively.
- In the women's shot put, Kelsey Neff had a season's best throw of 11.92m to come in sixth place. Erika Ezumba had a PR throw of 11.63 to finish a few spots behind Neff in eighth.
Men
- In a field of 60, Conrad Say ran a season's best 10.81 in the 100 to come in third place, which was also a top 10 performance in school history. Say ran well in the 200 as well, clocking in at 22.33 to take first place in the event.
- John Krill, Zach Roney and Michael Kruppa all ran PR's in the 200 to come in the top 10 along with Say.
- Connor Oiler turned in the second-best steeplechase performance in school history, running a 9:19.36 on Saturday. Jonas Larson finished behind him with a 9:28.43 which was a PR for him and also a top five performance in school history.
- Matthew Kleiman topped the field in the 1500 with a PR time of 3:52.22. His time was a top 10 performance in program history. Daniel Chen came right behind him in second with a 3.52.25. Arthur Beyer and Tommy Li also finished in the top 10 running a 3:53.63 and a 3:57.86 respectively.
- Ethan Bartlett returned for Johns Hopkins on Saturday and came away with a third place jump of 1.88m in the high jump which was a PR. Wech Ring also set a PR, coming in fifth at 1.83m.
- James Reilly paced the field in the javelin throw with a throw of 44.30m to set his PR.
