Wong and Xiao Fall in NCAA Quarterfinals

ORLANDO, FL – Johns Hopkins freshmen Kamila Wong and Jay Xiao fell in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Doubles Championship at the USTA National Campus.
 
Wong and Xiao squared off against Danna Taylor and Crystal Zhou (Carnegie Mellon), the four seed. With the match tied at five in the first set, Taylor and Zhou won the final two game to take the set. The Tartan duo then won the second, 6-0, to advance to the national semifinals.
 
Wong and Xiao end the season as All-Americans with a record of 12-10. Overall, Wong went 14-12 in doubles this season, while Xiao went 12-11.
