NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Johns Hopkins women's track team dominated the 2023 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Mid-Atlantic Region Outdoor Track individual awards it was recently announced.Â

The Blue Jays produced the region's Track Athlete of the Year, Field Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year and Assistant Coach of the Year to grab all four major awards. The awards were voted on prior to the recent NCAA Division III Championships.

Track Athlete of the Year
Lauren Phillips (So.)
Phillips helped fuel Hopkins' run to the 2023 Centennial Conference title as she won individual titles in the 200 and 400-meter dashes and was also a member of the first-place 4x100 and 4x400-meter relays. She went on to earn All-America honors in the 400 at the NCAA Championships with a fourth-place finish. She is Hopkins' first-ever All-American in the event.

Field Athlete of the Year
Victoria Kadiri (Jr.)
Kadiri concluded a dominant year with individual national titles in the long jump and triple jump and an All-America finish (8
th) in the heptathlon as well at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track Championships. Kadiri's two NCAA titles this spring give her seven in her career, the most ever by a Johns Hopkins female athlete.

Coach of the Year
Bobby Van Allen
Van Allen led the Blue Jays to their 13
th consecutive Centennial Conference title and an eighth-place finish at the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Van Allen's team won 11 Centennial Conference gold medals and the 276 points JHU earned at the CC Championships is the third-best total in league history. This is Van Allen's sixth outdoor regional coach of the year award.

Assistant Coach of the Year
Alex Jebb
 Johns Hopkins' jumpers and multis enjoyed an outstanding season under Jebb's guidance. In addition to Kadiri's national titles in the long jump and triple jump, Jebb's athletes produced 99 points at the Centennial Conference Championships to help the Blue Jays grab their 13
th consecutive conference title.
