Johns Hopkins Picked to Win 2024 Centennial Conference Title

LANCASTER, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's tennis team has been picked to win the 2024 Centennial Conference Championship in a preseason vote of the conference's coaches. The Blue Jays earned all nine possible first-place votes and 81 points to sit atop the poll.
 
Hopkins has won 16 straight Centennial Conference Championships and has won 148 consecutive regular season conference matches, both conference records. Swarthmore earned the other first-place vote and totaled 73 points to finish second. Haverford came in third place with 65 points, followed by Franklin & Marshall (57), Washington College (43) and Gettysburg (43) to round out the potential playoff teams.

The Blue Jays went 21-4 and advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals for the first time since 2017 and fifth time in program history. 
 
Hopkins is slated to open the season on Saturday, February 17 at Muhlenberg (11 am) and Lehigh (4 pm).
