GREENSBORO, NC – The Johns Hopkins men's swim team picked up 20 points on the fourth and final day of the 2024 NCAA Championships and finished in 14
th place.
Kellen Roddy,
Brandon Stride and
Bryce Lloyd each earned All-America honors on the final day.
Roddy kicked off the final day with a seventh-place finish in the 1650 Free. He touched in 15:32.85 to earn First Team All-America honors for the fourth time in the event. He is just the third swimmer in program history to do so, joining
Andy Greenhalgh (2014-2017) and
Tim Collins (1977-1980). Roddy now counts eight All-America honors in his career, including six first team selections.
Lloyd then finished in third in the consolation final of the 200 Back to finish 11
th overall. He swam a 1:47.80 in the finals and earned his first career All-America honor in the event. This is Lloyd's fourth career All-America honor, including third at this championship.
Stride closed out the championship with a seventh-place finish in the consolation final of the 200 Breast. He finished in 1:59.81 in the finals to finish 15
th overall. Stride earns Second Team All-America honors with the finish. He has earned All-America honors in the 200 Breast five times and has a total of six All-America selections in his career.
Seven Blue Jays combined to earn 18 All-America honors at the championships.
