LANCASTER, PA - Johns Hopkins picked up three Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week Awards as the Blue Jay men produced both the track and field honorees this week, while the women nabbed the track honor it was announced today.   The performances for this week's Johns Hopkins honorees took place at Boston University's David Hemery Invitational and the Widener Division II/III Challenge.

Emmanuel Leblond | Jr.
Leblond posted the fourth-best time in Division III history and set new Centennial Conference and Johns Hopkins records in the 3,000 meters at Boston University's David Hemery Invitational. Leblond crossed in 7:57.85, one of just five instances in Division III history of an indoor 3,000 being run in under eight minutes. The time bested the previous CC record of 8:06.56 by nearly nine seconds and topped the previous Hopkins record by just under 14 seconds.Â

Oluwademilade Adeniran | So.
Adeniran recorded the sixth-best triple jump in Centennial history at the Widener DII/III Challenge. Adeniran's mark of 14.42 meters placed second overall in the event and is the seventh-best jump in the nation this winter. The mark is a personal-best and gives him two of the four all-time jumps above 14-meters in program history.

Adriana Catalano | Jr.
Catalano turned in the second best time in the nation this season and the third-fastest time in Centennial history in the 3,000-meter run as she clocked in a 9:32.86 at Boston University's David Hemery Invitational. Her time beat her previous personal record by 23 seconds and is also the third-fastest time in JHU program history.

Johns Hopkins will return to action on Friday, February 21 when select members of the team compete at the Navy Invitational. The full team will next compete at the Centennial Conference Championships on March 1-2 at Franklin & Marshall.
