Johns Hopkins' NCAA Men's Indoor Track Championships Preview

Seven Blue Jays to Compete at NCAAs

BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins men's track team will be well represented at the 2025 NCAA Division III Indoor Track Championships on Friday, March 14 and Saturday, March 15.  The Blue Jays qualified one relay team and will have entries in four individual events at the championship, which will take place the Golisano Training Center in Rochester, New York.

Friday, March 14

2:35 pm | Mile Run (Prelims)
Johns Hopkins Entry:  Brady Ott (Fr.)
Seed Time: 4:12.38
Notes:  Two heats of 10 in the prelims with top four in each heat and next two best times advancing to finals on Saturday (4:00 pm).  Ott is the only freshman and one of just three non-juniors or seniors in the 20-man field.
 
4:45 pm | 5,000 (Finals)
Johns Hopkins Entry:  Emmanuel Leblond (Jr.)
Seed Time:  14:03.38
Notes: Leblond has the sixth-best seed time at the championships.  This is the third consecutive year that he has qualified for the NCAAs in the 5,000.
 
6:15 pm | DMR (Final)
Johns Hopkins Entry:  Aiden Tomov (Gr.), Alex Colletti (So.), Fisayo Omonije (Jr.), Lucas Rackers (Gr.)
Seed Time:  9:51.95
Notes: The Blue Jays own the fourth-best time in the nation this season.  Johns Hopkins was the national runner-up in this event at the 2023 NCAA Indoor Track Championships.
 
Saturday, March 15

Johns Hopkins Entry:  Oluwademilade Adeniran (So.)
Seed Mark: 14.42-meters
Notes:  Two heats of 10 in the prelims with top nine advancing to finals immediately after the prelims.  Adeniran posted the 16th-best mark in the nation this season and won the Centennial Conference title in the event.
 
5:40 pm | 3,000 (Final)
Johns Hopkins Entry:  Emmanuel Leblond (Jr.)
Seed Time:  8:03.40
Notes:  Leblond owns the second-best time in the nation in this event, a mark that ranks among the top five in Division III history.  This is the fifth time in last six NCAA Championships that JHU has qualified someone in the 3,000.
