MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Johnas Hopkins senior forward
Michaela O'Neil has added another honor to her already impressive list of accomplishments as she landed a spot on the D3hoops.com All-Region 5 Second Team it has been announced. This is the first time O'Neil has earned D3hoops.com All-Region honors and she is the 11
th Johns Hopkins player to be named to the team since D3hoops first selected all-region teams in 2002.

O'Neil, who had previously earned First Team All-Centennial Conference honors this season, led the team in scoring (12.8), ranked third in rebounding (5.3) and had a team-high 53 blocks on the year. She started all 29 games and shot a team-best (among players taking 100+ shots) .485 from the floor (158-of-326) and added 31 assists and 27 steals.

With her selection to the All-Centennial Team, O'Neil became just the sixth player in program history to earn All-Centennial honors three times and she ended her career ranked 12
th in school history in points (1,100), third in blocks (119) and 17
th in rebounds (534). In addition, her 111 career games played ranks eighth in program history and she is one of just 13 Johns Hopkins players to play more than 2,500 minutes.

With O'Neil helping lead the way, Johns Hopkins posted a 24-5 record, advanced to the Centennial Conference title game for the fourth consecutive year, made a fourth straight trip to the NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second straight year.
