GREENSBORO, NC – The Johns Hopkins women's swim team opened the 2025 NCAA Championships with an All-America relay finish.
The Blue Jays raced to a 13
th place finish in the 400 Medley Relay in the final event of day one. The team of
Jaya Veerapaneni,
Taylor Rohovit,
Ken Lee and
Elizabeth Cohen shaved 1.42 seconds off its prelim time to finish in 3:45.94. The quartet's time is the seventh fastest in school history and Veerapaneni's lead-off leg of 55.78 is just six-hundredths of a second off the freshman record.
Hopkins has produced an All-America team in the 400 Medley Relay at each of the last six NCAA Championships. Rohovit leads the Blue Jays with her 10
th career All-America honor while Cohen earns her second. Veerapaneni and Lee garner All-America honors for the first time.
The NCAA Championships continue on Thursday, March 20 with the prelim of the 400 IM.
