BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team competed on Saturday, sending a contingent to the Duke Invitational and the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic.

Ellie Lewis,
Mirra Klimov and
Anna Zinsser ran the fastest time in JHU history in the 4x100m relay (47.94).

Both Blue Jay relay squads turned in historic performances at the Duke Invitational. The 4x100m team of

Ellie Lewis,
Mirra Klimov and
Anna Zinsser etched their names in the Johns Hopkins record books, running the fastest time in program history (47.94) on their way to a 10
th-place finish.
The 4x400m squad of Saussy,
Lauren Phillips,
Annie Huang and
Emma Kothari wasn't far behind, clocking a 3:49.56, the second-fastest time in school history, to finish ninth overall.
Not done yet, both Saussy and Kothari clocked some of the fastest times in their respective events. Saussy ran a personal-best 1:04.19 in the 400m hurdles, the second-fastest time in Hopkins history, with Kothari posting the sixth-fastest time in program history, with a 2:13.25 in the 800m.
Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic
The Blue Jay distance runners delivered a standout showing at the Bison Outdoor Classic.
Adriana Catalano shattered her previous personal best in the 5000m, finishing fourth with a time of 16:37.30 – a 23-second improvement that now ranks as the third-fastest time in school history.
Carter Brotherton followed with a strong performance of her own, running a personal-best 16:47.89, the eighth-fastest mark in program history, to place 13th overall.
In the 10,000m,
Jamie Stelnik and
Storrie Kulynych-Irvin wrapped up day one with a pair of top-20 finishes. Stelnik placed 15
th in 36:14.66, while Kulynych-Irvin took 18
th in 36:27.31.
The Blue Jays are back in action Sunday, April 13, for the conclusion of the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic, with action scheduled to begin in Lewisburg, PA at 2:30 PM in the triple jump.
