BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's track and field team competed on Friday, sending
Emmanuel Leblond to the Bryan Clay Invitational, while also hosting the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational.

Dubbed the fastest and largest collegiate meet in the country, the Bryan Clay Invitational drew elite competition from across the nation—and
Emmanuel Leblond rose to the occasion. Traveling to Azusa, CA, Leblond delivered a historic performance. The junior clocked a personal-best time of 14:17.01 in the 5000m, setting a new program record.
Hopkins/Loyola Invitational
The hammer throw duo of
Ryan Braga and
Leo Anderson led off the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational. In the lone event of the evening, both athletes earned top-10 finishes – Braga taking fifth with a throw of 37.84m and Anderson close behind in seventh recording a 37.38m mark.
The Blue Jays are back in action Saturday, April 19, for the conclusion of the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational, with action scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM in the javelin.
