PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's track and field team kicked off the second day of the Penn Relays Friday afternoon in Philadelphia, PA.
Both relay teams—4x100 and 4x400—posted some of the fastest times in program history. The 4x100-meter squad featuring
Mirra Klimov,
Lianne Saussy,
Ellie Lewis and
Chloe Zhang, clocked a time of 48.07, marking the fifth-fastest time ever recorded at Johns Hopkins. Similarly, the 4x400-meter team of Saussy,
Lorna Arcese,
Annie Huang and
Lauren Phillips posted a time of 3:51.08, also securing the fifth-fastest time in program history.
The Blue Jays are back in action Saturday, April 26, for the final day of the Penn Relays, with action scheduled to begin at 5 PM with the 4x800-meter relay.
