CLAREMONT, CA – Johns Hopkins junior Jay Xiao lost in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Singles Championship on Sunday to bring their season to a close. Xiao earned All-America honors at the championships and is just the second Blue Jay to advance to the quarterfinals.
 
Xiao faced off against 15^th-ranked Jimena Menendez of New York University on Sunday. Menendez took the match in straight sets 6-3, 6-1 to advance to the national semifinals.
 
Xiao finishes their season with 12 singles wins and now boasts 34 in their career. The 34 singles' wins are tied for 25^th in Johns Hopkins history.
