BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins baseball program earned major accolades this week, as four student-athletes received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors, announced Tuesday. This marks the third-consecutive season and second time in program history four student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-America Team, bringing the program's total to 36 honorees dating back to 1976—the most across all divisions of the NCAA and NAIA.
Caleb Cyr and
Drew Grumbles were named to the Second Team, while
Dillon Souvignier and
Shawn Steuerer earned First Team honors, with Steuerer becoming the fifth player in program history to be named to the Academic All-America Team twice.
