2026 NFHCA Watch List

Field Hockey Jill Guise - Assistant Director of Athletic Communications

Albano, Farmer, Kilgore and Robinson Named to NFHCA Watch List

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO – Johns Hopkins placed four players on the 2026 National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Watch List, powered by Performance Sports Events (PSE). Seniors Sophia Albano, Aubrey Kilgore and Caeli Robinson and junior Ada Farmer have been named to the list.

The 2026 NFHCA Watch List recognizes field hockey student-athletes who have demonstrated a high level of achievement and are considered among those with strong potential for NFHCA All-Region and All-American consideration this season.

Student-athletes were nominated by their NFHCA member coaches and must have earned qualifying field hockey recognition within the previous two years. Qualifying honors include NFHCA All-Region, NFHCA All-America, All-Conference, Senior Nexus Championship selection, NCAA All-Tournament Team, or selection to a U.S. National or international team roster. The Watchlist is intended to highlight returning and emerging standouts entering the 2026 season. Selection does not guarantee future NFHCA postseason recognition.

Albano was named to the NCAA All-Tournament Team last season and finished with six goals and three assists on the season. Four of her six goals were game-winners, including the overtime winner in the NCAA Semifinals. Kilgore is a two-time NFHCA All-Region and two-time All-Centennial Conference selection. She ranked in the top-10 in the nation last season with a 0.83 goals against average and .851 save percentage. She is also third in program history in career goals against average (0.793) and eighth in save percentage (.832).

Robinson earned Second Team NFHCA All-America and First Team All-Centennial Conference honors last season. She was also named to the NCAA All-Tournament team. Robinson ranked third on the team in goals (7) and assists (6) and fourth in points (20). In her first year as a starter, Farmer was named a Second Team NFHCA All-Region and All-Centennial Conference pick. She anchored a defense that ranked eighth in the nation in goals against average (0.80) and fifth in shutouts (12). JHU's opponents averaged just 8.5 shots and 4.9 corners per game.

Hopkins opens the 2026 season on Tuesday, September 1 versus Lynchburg. The game is slated for a 4:00 pm start at Shenandoah's Aikens Stadium.
