FREDERICKSBURG, VA - With a sweep of all six singles matches and each of the three doubles matches, seventh-ranked Mary Washington handed Johns Hopkins a 7-0 loss in men's tennis on Thursday afternoon.
The loss is just the second in the Blue Jays' last eight outings. Hopkins won three in a row entering this afternoon's action.
Johns Hopkins begins Centennial Conference Tournament play Friday afternoon at Haverford College. The tournament continues through Sunday (April 30). The Blue Jays conclude the regular season 12-7 overall and enter the tournament with an 8-2 Centennial Conference record.
