The Sea Gulls added to their lead when Washburn scored back-to-back goals 10 minutes apart midway through the first half. Yumi Kim pushed Salisbury's lead to four with her goal just 18 seconds before the end of the half.

Elliott added her second of the night just over five minutes into the second half to give the Sea Gulls a 5-0 lead. Washburn closed out the scoring at 51:12 with her third of the night off a Samantha Johnson corner.

Atabek finished with nine saves in the loss as Hopkins was outshot 32-3. Rachel Clewer got the start and played more than 51 minutes for the Sea Gulls to earn the win. Kate Russo replaced her at 51:20 and was not forced to make a save.
