How it Happened
? Johns Hopkins struck first, scoring just 2:03 into the contest. Senior Kenny DeStefano chested the ball to the feet of sophomore Jonah Muniz, who then slotted a perfect through ball to junior Samy Ramadane. He ran on to the ball and blasted a shot past Vince Maiorino.

? The tie didn't last long as Ramadane and Muniz swapped roles in the 20th minute to stake Hopkins to a 2-1 lead. Ramadane dribbled through several defenders in the box and then crossed the ball to the front of the goal from the right endline. Muniz beat Maiorino with a one-timer from close range to put the Blue Jays back on top.
? Hopkins doubled its lead in the 30th minute as Ramadane turned on his defender, dribbled along the top of the box and blasted a shot into the bottom left corner to make it a 3-1 game.
? In the 34th minute, junior Bryan See made a leaping one-handed save on a blast from Ben Amaral to keep the Blue Jays up 3-1.
? Justin Mendez cut the deficit in half for the Bears in the 53rd minute when he fired a shot from 42 yards out that just snuck under the crossbar.
