The Basics
? Score: Dickinson 3, Johns Hopkins 2 (2OT)
? Records: JHU (5-9, 2-5 CC), DC (10-4, 6-2 CC)
? Location: Baltimore, MD ? Homewood Field
? The Short Story: Catherine Perlmutter scored a pair of goals, including the overtime winner, to lift visiting Dickinson to a 3-2 win over the Johns Hopkins field hockey team in double overtime Wednesday night. The Blue Jays slip to 5-9 on the season and 2-5 in the Centennial Conference.

How it Happened
? Junior Lindsey Adams put the Blue Jays on the board just 94 seconds into the game, with her first goal of the season. Off a Blue Jay corner, senior co-captain Leslie MacManus dribbled across the circle, lifted a high shot over the defense and Adams redirected it at the left post.
? Dickinson tied the game at the 17:21-mark when the Red Devils' leading scorer, Catherine Perlmutter collected a loose ball in the circle and backhanded a shot into the top of the cage.
? The Red Devils then took the lead just 78 seconds later. Perlmutter shot from the end line and Emilie Arrix tipped it in at the goal line.
? Hopkins pulled even with Dickinson, 6:13 into the second half. MacManus played a great ball through the defense to sophomore Morgan Pothast. She collected the pass and with the Red Devils goalie out, fired the tying goal into the cage.
? Perlmutter gave the Red Devils the victory with just 2:31 left in the second overtime. Merritt Davis corralled a rebound off a Greta Helvie save, played the ball back into Perlmutter, who banged home the gamewinner.

What it Means
? Johns Hopkins is now 19-8-2 all-time against Dickinson.
? At 2-5 in the Centennial Conference, Hopkins will need to win its final three games and get some help in order to make the conference tournament.
