The Short Story: Johns Hopkins snapped Susquehanna's four-game winning streak Wednesday with a 7-4 victory over the Crusaders. The win was the Jays' fifth in their last six games and 11th in their last 13. Jake Enterlin cruised to his third win of the season in as many starts, allowing just one run over six innings while scattering six hits and striking out five. Wyatt Lam pitched two scoreless innings out of the bullpen to earn his first career save. Daniel Albert and Raul Shah each hit 2-run home runs to help lead the Hopkins offense.
How it Happened:
- Albert drove a ball over the rightfield wall to give Hopkins a 2-0 lead in the first inning. It was Albert's third home run of the season and second in as many days.
- The Jays added a pair of runs in the bottom of the third to make it 4-0. Shah recorded his 21st RBI of the season on a single to score Tommy Mee.
- Susquehanna scored its first run of the contest in the top of the fourth. The Crusaders had four hits in the innings, but Enterlin was able to get out of a bases-loaded, 1-out jam with a strike out and a groundout.
- Shah added to his team-best RBI total in the bottom of the fifth when he drove a ball over the right-centerfield fence for a 2-run home run.
- A pinch-hit RBI single from Joe Conlon gave Hopkins a 7-1 lead in the bottom of the sixth.
- The Crusaders closed the margin to 7-4 in the top of the seventh when they tagged the Hopkins bullpen for three runs. The big blow in the inning was a 2-RBI single off the bat of Bryan Palsi.

The Facts:
- This was the first meeting between the two teams since 2000 and fifth overall. Hopkins is now 5-0 all-time against SU.
- Conor Reynolds saw his 10-game hitting streak come to an end, but the junior did extend his reached base streak to 15 with a first inning walk.
- Enterlin increased his career strikeout total to 175, the 11th most in JHU history.
- Lam is the fifth different Blue Jay to earn a save this season, and the fourth freshman to do so.
