BALTIMORE, MD - The Johns Hopkins baseball team has earned the 2025-26 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award, presented by Sports Attack. 

To qualify for the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, a program must meet the following criteria: be a high school or college baseball program, have a head coach who is a current ABCA member, post a minimum cumulative team GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the 2025-26 academic year. 

Johns Hopkins boasts a cumulative GPA of 3.67 and have received the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award in nine of the last 10 seasons. JHU posted a 38-12 record in 2026, won the program's 20th Centennial Conference title and advanced to the College World Series for the eighth time.
