BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins baseball program earned major accolades this week, as five student-athletes received College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors, announced Tuesday. This marks the fourth consecutive season and sixth time in program history five student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-District Team, bringing the program's total to 83 honorees dating back to 1976.

Clay Hartje and
Michael Yousef are all first-time honorees while
Alex Shane earns a spot for the third time in his career, becoming the fourth player in program history to be named to the Academic All-District Team three times.

Damian Brown (Sr.)
Major: Molecular & Cellular Biology
GPA: 3.82
• Appeared in 49 games, making 49 starts
• Slashed .299/.425/.524 with 49 hits, 37 RBIs, 45 runs, nine home runs, eight doubles and 30 walks
• Recorded two hits against Baldwin Wallace in the 2026 DIII World Series
• Clubbed a walk-off, two-run home run in Game 2 against Cortland
• Tallied season-high four RBIs in win against Hood

• 2026 NCAA Super Regional Tournament Most Valuable Player; went 6-for-13 with nine RBIs and five runs scored in three games
• Appeared in 49 games, making 49 starts
• Slashed .350/.472/.689 with 62 hits, 15 doubles, 15 home runs, 36 walks and holds the team lead in runs scored (70) and RBIs (79)
• Ranks fourth nationally and leads the conference in RBIs, and ranks sixth in Division III and leads the conference in runs scored
• Set the single-season RBI program record in Game 2 of the Super Regional

• Struck out a career-high 10 batters over 5.2 innings in a win against McDaniel (4/7)
• Ranks second in the conference and 45
