GREENSBORO, NC – Johns Hopkins senior right-handed pitcher Ryan Anderson has been named to the ABCA/Rawlings Region V All-Defensive Team, the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) announced Thursday. Anderson is just the second Blue Jay in program history to earn the honor since its inception in 2023.
 
The Palos Verdes Estates, California native secured his first career All-Defensive nod after a flawless season on the mound. Anderson anchored the Blue Jays' pitching staff defensively, leading the unit with 16 assists and four putouts without committing a single error.
 
In addition to posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage over his senior campaign, Anderson also helped turn one double play to earn a Region V All-Defensive nod.
