GAME ONE
• Score: JHU 7, St. John Fisher 1
• Records: JHU (1-0) o SJF (0-1)
• Location: Baltimore, MD • Stromberg Stadium at Babb Field
• Pitching Decision: W - Josh Hejka (1-0), L - Kyle Chambers (0-1)
• The Short Story: A four-run sixth inning helped lead the Johns Hopkins baseball team to a 7-1 victory over St. John Fisher in game one of the doubleheader on Saturday.

How it Happened
• JHU got on the board first as Mike Eberle singled to left to score Brian Linton in the second inning.
• The Cardinals got even in the fourth against JHU starter Sean McCracken as Thomas Pasquale, who tripled earlier in the inning, was able to score on a single by Stephen Edgette, who would advance to second on an error. McCracken would strand Edgette, getting Vic Konstantinovsky to ground into a fielder's choice to end the inning.
• The Blue Jay offense came to life in the sixth as JHU recorded four runs on three hits. Chris DeGiacomo had the big hit of the inning as he cleared the bases with a bases-clearing triple to center to put Johns Hopkins ahead 4-1. Chris Festa added to the Hopkins lead with a double to left-center which scored DeGiacomo from third.
• JHU added two more runs in the seventh on a Nathan Davis double and an Eberle single.
Nick Burns retired the Cardinals in order in the bottom of the ninth as Hopkins took game one by a score of 7-1.

Inside the Box Score

• The Short Story: A three-run fifth and a four-run fourth inning proved to be the difference in game two as St. John Fisher defeated the Johns Hopkins baseball team by a 10-4 score.

How it Happened
• The Cardinals got the JHU starter Alex Ross in the fifth as Allen Murphy took Ross deep to left to put SJF up 3-0. The visitors added a run earlier in the inning on an error.
• St. John Fisher got four more runs in the following inning with two-RBI hits from Jack Vivinetto and Scott Eisenmenger to make the score 7-0.
