• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins baseball team went into the fifth inning with a 3-0 lead, however, Stevens was able to score two runs in the fifth and three in the sixth as the Ducks held on for the 5-4 win on Sunday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays got on the board first as Frank Clara doubled to right and was knocked in by a single from Tim Kutcher.
• Three straight singles from Chris Festa, Alex Darwiche and Nathan Davis loaded the bases for Mike Eberle who legged out an infield single as Festa crossed home to put JHU up 2-0.
Nick Burns didn't allow a hit until the fifth inning when, with a runner on third, Ambrose Consol homered to right to tie the game at two. The Ducks would follow with two singles, but Burns was able to get out of the inning without allowing any more runs.
• Stevens took the lead in the sixth on a two-RBI single from Nathan Zuckerman. A sacrifice fly from Matthew Pasko put the Ducks up 5-2.
• JHU got a run back in the bottom of the inning as Festa singled to center and was knocked in by an Eberle single.
• Down one heading into their final at-bats, the Blue Jays began their rally in the ninth. Chris DeGiacomo walked and Dillon Bowman walked to put runners on the corners with two outs. Bowman swiped second to put the go-ahead run in scoring position. After going up 2-0 in the count, Kutcher was intentionally walked to load the bases, however, Joseph Deitz got Mike Smith swinging to end the game.
